ATTORNEY KEITH R. CLIFFORD has been named Wisconsin's Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Wisconsin Association for Justice (formerly Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers), one of only a half-dozen lawyers given that honor. He is a nationally board certified Civil Trial Specialist and has been routinely rated among Madison, Wisconsin's Top Lawyers in personal injury and medical malpractice law by the Madison Magazine Attorneys Poll. He is ranked among the top 5% of all Wisconsin lawyers as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer.
Keith Clifford is a former President of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers (now Wisconsin Association for Justice) and member of the Council of Presidents of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. His trial practice focuses in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Clifford, senior shareholder of Clifford & Raihala, received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been a frequent lecturer on medical-legal issues before both legal and medical audiences. Among other professional appointments, Mr. Clifford has served on the Wisconsin State Legislature Special Committee on Jury Service (1990-92), the District 9 Subcommittee of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility (1988-90), and was chair of the City of Madison Board of Ethics.
He currently is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Clifford is a member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and is certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Attorneys.
